The weekly schedule
Mondays 6.45pm-7.45pm Slow Flow Yoga
Thursdays 6.45pm-7.45pm Vinyasa Yoga
Saturdays 8.30am-9.30am Ashtanga Yoga
Sundays 11.30am-12.30pm Vinyasa Yoga
All classes take place at the Tooting Bec Lido Pavilion Studio: a beautiful and unique studio that overlooks the lido pool.
Monday Slow Flow is slower and easier (best for beginners). Thursday and Sunday Vinyasa is intermediate, and slight step up from Mondays. These classes usually feature an over-arching theme from week to week. The focus can range from a specific area of the body, philosophical idea or progression towards a particular yoga pose.
However for those that enjoy repetition, the Saturday Ashtanga class will suit you best, it’s a challenge but it’s mostly the same each week.

Practice overlooking the stunning view of Tooting Bec Lido open air pool…
Entrance to the Tooting Bec Lido Pavilion Studio is separate from Lido pool entrance - the studio entrance is near the lido car park, down the south end of the pool.
Enter through the sliding glass doors of the blue building called 'The Pavilion.'
Slow Flow Mondays 6.45pm
As the name suggests, we move slower in this 1hr class than the other weekly classes.
This class is therefore the most suitable for beginners, as the pace allows more time to learn each pose and various movement techniques. Experienced yogis who like to take things slower for a deeper connection to the poses are also very welcome! Themes and focus of the classes will vary from week to week.
Vinyasa Thursdays 6.45pm and Sundays 11.30am
A 1hr intermediate level vinyasa class - where movements are linked in a sequence. Classes usually include a mixture of floor work, standing poses, and flow sequences. Themes and focus of the classes will vary from week to week.
All levels welcome.
Ashtanga Saturdays 8.30am
This class is Em’s take on the Ashtanga Primary Series. For those unfamiliar with Ashtanga yoga: it is based on a set style and sequence, beginning with rhythmic sun salutations, held standing poses, seated forward folds and twists, leading to backbends, then finally rest. Most of the sequence is the same each week (with some slight variations from time to time) - great for those that like repetition and familiarity.
All levels welcome.

Momence Bookings
I use a platform called ‘Momence’ for bookings and payments - single class and multi-class passes are available. You will be instructed to make a profile, where you can log in and manage all your bookings and class passes through Momence.
Momence also have an app to make your bookings even simpler. Download on IOS or Android.
Once you sign in with your user name and password, find ‘Em Thomson Yoga’ as a host - and voila!
